Sperm Whale crashes down upon truck
A bizarre video has emerged online of an accident which occurred on Monday as a dead whale was being hoisted by crane onto a truck in Uruguay.
The sperm whale washed onto the Carrasco beach in Montevideo and local authorities decided to use a crane to move it onto a truck so that it could be buried in a landfill.
As they were moving the whale to the vehicle, the straps supporting marine mammal snapped, sending the 25 ton creature crashing down onto the truck.
Fortunately, no-one was injured in the incident.
