Footage has emerged of a car partially submerged in the River Colne in Colchester, UK.

The footage, shot on Wednesday, shows police vehicles and officers on the bank next to the immersed car.

According to reports, the body of a 52-year-old man from Maldon, Essex was found in the vehicle after it was towed out of the river.

The death is not believed to be suspicious.

The initial checks found nothing in the car and it was assumed there were no Fatalities, But it has now been confirmed that the body of a man from Maldon in Essex was found in the car after it was removed from the river at low tide by Crane.The police have said it is not suspicious and are not looking for anyone else or any other vehicle in connection with the incident.
