The Northern lights, Venus setting, a fireball and a iridium flare in 10hrs

So last week I went out on a night time photo shot not expecting much but how wrong I was.

I started of watching and photographing Venus setting over Ben Buben mountain just after sunset and moments after Venus had set I caught a small Taurid meteor. I then positioned my camera to the north and caught a part of a small Fireball one of many I seen over the night that went out of shot on my camera and then the magical moment the northern lights started to show which where also visible to the naked eye with a nice rayed arc across the northern horizon. Just as I was set to pack up and call it a night a very bright Iridium appears in the northern sky just left of the big dipper and moves through the sky.

Enjoy these moment I caught and seen.

All footage was captured from Abbeylands, Ballyshannon, Donegal, Ireland.
