The full moon this morning from Ballyshannon Co.Donegal, Ireland. When you here the word supermoon you think of a massive bigger than normal moon and yes it was bigger than normal 14% bigger and was the biggest and brightest supermoon to rise in almost 69 years.the full moon won't come this close to Earth again until Nov. 25, 2034.We're not talking about dramatic shifts in distance, but were talking about subtle differences that are noticeable if you're used to looking at the moon. The supermoon was approximately 221,524 miles (356,508 kilometers) from Earth. While this is the closest full moon to rise since Jan. 26, 1948, it is not the closest full moon approach on record.A Better name for this moon is the full perigee moon.Royalty Free Music from Bensound
