Bizarre footage has emerged of a young boy begging and kowtowing in front of a security camera, in the hope of not being arrested after allegedly being caught stealing from a fruit factory.

The video, filmed in Quanzhou, Fujian Province on October 2, purportedly shows the 17-year-old breaking into the building.

After a while, he kneels in front of the CCTV camera and kowtows three times, apparently hoping he wouldn't be arrested

It doesn't seem to have worked though as, according to local reports, he's already been picked up by the police.

In the CCTV video, captured in Quanzhou, Fujian Province on October 2, a 17-year-old boy forces to pry an office door in a factory and goes inside.

Then, he kneels down towards to the surveillance and kowtows for three times.

According to local reports, the boy stole some fruits in the factory, so he kowtowed to the police who might see him from the surveillance and hoped that they won't arrest him.

But he has already been arrested by police.
