Footage of safari tourists having to quickly get back into their cars after an adult hyena wandered onto the bridge they were taking photographs on.

The video, filmed at Kruger National Park in South Africa on December 10, shows tourists taking pictures outside when the animal walks onto the bridge, prompting everyone to rush back to the safety of their cars.

Clearly it is Not safe to get out on any bridge in Kruger National Park (tourists are allowed to get out of their vehicles on certain bridges).
Always keep an eye out for animals crossing the bridge before getting out of your vehicle.(if allowed on the particular bridge)

"I was driving from Letaba Camp to Olifants Camp and as I was approaching the bridge I saw a few hyenas disappearing into the bush as they got off the bridge. There were a few cars on the bridge and i drove past to cross the bridge when i noticed a lone hyena approaching the other side of the bridge. I stopped and grabbed the camera.I was alone in the vehicle and that is why the footage is a little shaky. The poor hyena looked very nervous and you could see he was desperate to cross. The people behind me started to get out of their vehicles between the designated areas on the bridge. The hyena then started to cross the bridge and I turned with the camera to wave to them to notice the hyena. As you can see some off the people kept taking picture and only jumped back into their cars when he was close. Fortunately he crossed without incident and hopefully joined his clan." - video owner
