An adorable video has emerged of a pit bull puppy protecting a five-month-old baby.

The footage, shot earlier this month at a home in Fayetteville, NC, USA, shows Rambo the six-month-old dog pushing his owner's hand away from his son Leo Jr.

"A couple days before my son was born, we bought a 1 month old pitbull to be a loving companion to our son and for them to grow up together," the father wrote online.

"I decided it was time to pick up my son when Rambo instinctly jolted up and prevented me from picking up my son and instead Rambo wanted to guard my son himself,"

"As i try walking around the play mat he fallowed my every move and as soon as i reached out my hand, Rambo did not bite me, he simply moved my hand away from touching my son," he added.

When this video was made, Rambo the pitbull is 6 months and my son Leo Jr. is 5 months. Leo jr. was playing while Rambo was guarding him. As i try walking around the play mat he fallowed my every move and as soon as i reached out my hand, Rambo did not bite me, he simply moved my hand away from touching my son.
I made this video because i never experienced, with my own eyes, a dog (pitbull) that tought himself without me training him to gaurd his companion. Pitbulls are not aggressive dogs they are very loyal as to how you raise them. Thank you for watching.
