Severe weather warnings are in place for many parts of New Zealand over the next few days. Thunderstorms, heavy rain and gales of up to 120 km/h may occur over northern parts of both islands and the public are being warned that winds of this strength have the potential to bring down trees and cause damage to unsecured structures. Conditions are expected to be unsettled for some parts until Friday (13th June).
