A cute video has emerged of two otters breaking the ice on the surface of their pond at Twycross Zoo in the UK.

The footage, shot Thursday, shows the oriental otters breaking the ice to be able to go for a swim.

The cold resulted in freezing up the Otters Pond at the Twycros Zoo in Atherstone England. The Oriental small clawed otter isn't quite sure about the the frozen water. He's trying to brave it with one paw and manages to break off some of the ice. In the end he turned out to be a right Ice breaker as a piece of Salmon that a keeper through landed on the frozen pond. When he comes out his mate wants a piece of the fish, but after that struggle to get to it, he's in no mood to share it.
