Footage has emerged from China of a man falling through the ice of a frozen lake while ice skating.

The video, filmed in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province on January 11, shows the unlucky man's fellow skaters trying to rescue him, using a rope, but they're struggling because it's so slippery.

The man was reportedly uninjured.

According to local reports, the man skating on the icy lake suddenly fell into it.

When another skater saw it, he rescued the man out with a rope.

The man was rescued successfully and he was not injured.
