An interesting video has emerged of a pied crow having a "quick chat" with a man in Bloemfontein, South Africa.

The footage, shot in 2012, shows the crow vocalising as the filmer holding a piece of food to it.

"This is someone in the neighbourhood's pet pied crow. He lets it fly around the neighbourhood during the day and then at sunset he drives around on his bike until the crow spots him and follows him home," he wrote online.

"On this day I decided to call the crow with my best attempt at crow calls, and it actually landed right next to me on the fence for a quick chat."
