My colleague was driving down the A40 and the road was closed off to members of public. I took this opportunity to show the eerie ghost town view we had whilst driving slowly down the A40 today. This is not the London we know. Not one car in sight on the dual carriageway. It was really weird. We were shocked to see the Grenfell tower block smouldering whilst driving along and we could smell the tower burning. The smell was so bad my throat began to burn and my eyes watered. I couldn't believe what i was seeing. It was like something from the movies. We are still in disbelief and cannot believe this is happening in London. We have never seen anything as bad as this before. We began to think about those poor people and the lives that have been affected by this. This incident is terrible. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected.
