An embarrassed man undergoes a painful procedure to remove metal rings from his penis after a bizarre sexual experiment went wrong.

The 33-year-old man - who would only give his first name of ‘Wirat’ - had been pleasuring himself at home when he slipped two small metal rings onto his manhood.

But they became stuck and his penis began to swell - leaving hapless Wirat in pain as they circulation was cut-off to parts of his organ.

He took himself to Pattaya City Hospital who called the local Sawang Boribun Fire Rescue Center to remove the rings with tools and a reporter picked up on the emergency call and went to the hospital to film the procedure.

Rescue worker Luang Watcharapong, 40, said he spent 30 minutes using metal cutters to remove the rings but 'Wirat' was too embarrassed to give a full explanation as to how the accident happened other than he was ''experimenting''.
