Joseph Nelson's Crash Landing
A video has emerged online of a BMX stunt backfiring after an attempted jump saw the rider crash-land onto concrete.
Joseph Nelson attempted the risky manoeuvre at a car-park near the University of Southern Maine.
Jumping from the top of a high wall adjacent to the car-park, the BMX appears to get caught on the way down, sending the rider tumbling onto the ground below.
After a sickening landing, Joseph walked away with fractured facial bones and broken legs.
Despite his injuries, Joseph is still keen to be back riding when he recovers.
