A German adventurer claims he has become the first person to climb the 4811 meters high Mount Sabalan in north-west iran to set up a slackline leading across the glacier lake.

Alexander Schulz allegedly completed the walk 4811m above the sea level (MASL) on a line 68m long setting a new world record.

"Besides being good for records, it gets more & more clear to me that vulcanoes are the coolest places to slackline... I definetly enjoyed those intense two days that we spent at this one," Schulz said.
