Rare footage has emerged from Orange County, California, on October 3 of an adult female mountain lion captured on camera together with her two kittens.

"I followed and observed several Mountain Lion track in the vicinity and set up a few cameras. To my delight I have caught a lot of wild life including Bobcats, Mule Deer, Possums, Skunks, and now the rarely seen Mountain Lion," the filmer wrote online.

This is a rare capture of adult female Mountain Lion with her two kittens in Orange County California. I followed and observed several Mountain Lion track in the vicinity and set up a few cameras. To my delight I have caught a lot of wild life including Bobcats, Mule Deer, Possums, Skunks, and now the rarely seen Mountain Lion! I’m avid hiker, and lover of outdoors and staunch supporter of Proposition 117 here in California that protects Mountain Lions from sport hunting and increased revenue to spend on wildlife habitat protection.
