This adorable puppy left his owner in despair after ruining his freshly cleaned coat - by jumping in a dirty pool.

Six-month-old Golden Retreiver Yimwan had just been cleaned when he spotted the small ornamental bowl with water lilies inside to a statue in Ryaong, Thailand.

The mischievous pup, whose name means ’sweet smile’, had a shiny coat after being bathed with doggy shampoos. But he didn’t care about that and jumped straight into the filthy water, spinning around and happily splashing in the dirty pool until he was dripping with muddy water.

He emerged a few minutes later and had to be washed again by exasperated owner P’ Phatnaree.

Phatnaree, who runs a cake shop, said: ‘’Yimwan was very naughty. He had just been cleaned but he loved getting dirty. He's so sweet, it's hard to be angry at hime for long.''
