An amusing video has emerged of a woman screaming as she tries to get rid of a lizard that walked into her bathroom.

The footage, shot in 2013, shows the lady using a broom and a net to try and catch the intruder.

She eventually manages to get the lizard out into her garden.

"My mom and I were lifelong New Yorkers who moved left the cold weather to move to Central Florida," her daughter explained.

"We were experiencing a lizard in the house for the first time shortly after moving and were terrified of the little thing!"

"My mom hilariously uses a butterfly net and a broom to wrangle the reptile back outside where it belongs," she added.
