Cloud and Sunset Timelapse On the Coast in La Jolla

Based on the appearance of the clouds earlier in the evening, it looked like the sky would explode with color. That didn't happen, but the clouds were quite interesting anyway. I wanted to shoot this sequence longer into the night, but a large wave suddenly came up and misted my camera rig with seawater. Before an even large wave happened moments later, I grabbed my camera and moved it out of the way.

This is 1456 frames shot with a Canon 6D and Sigma 15mm EX DG lens. I compiled the timelapse using LRTimelapse.
