When starlings gather together at dusk in their thousands they often put on a amazing acrobatic display called murmurations. This footage in slow motion shows a huge flock of Starlings making a shape like a giant mushroom and other amazing shapes as the flock twists and turns wile being harassed by a Peregrine Falcon and a Sparrowhawk. Filmed at Tarn Sike in the Westmorland Dale Cumbria UK on Friday 17th of November at 4.20 pm just before the Starlings settle down to roost in the conifer plantation for the night.
