Could this be the future of clothes shopping?

A shopping mall in Shenzhen City, China has introduced a high tech update of a fitting room mirror which allows shoppers to try on clothes virtually.

By standing in front of the "mirror" the shopper can super-impose images of clothes onto their bodies to see how they look.

Although the "mirrors" appeared to save time in actually trying on clothes, the crowd of people who gathered at the mall to watch brave shoppers try the new technology would be enough to send most people running to the privacy of a normal fitting room.
