Strong waves and winds from Storm Eleanor have destroyed a 40-foot section of the harbour wall in Portreath on the North Cornwall coast and damaged a home.

In the video, a house by the seafront appears to have had a huge window knocked in by a shed, blown by the winds.

The waves crashed over a car park onto the wall and sent huge chunks of it tumbling onto a beach below.

Storm Eleanor winds were gusting up to 80 mph on the town, situated on the north Cornish coast in the southwest of England.
