This is a video clip of a Manta ray, from off the Big Island of Hawaii in Dec. 2017. Immediately northwest of the Sheraton Hotel, a small boat takes visitors about 200 meters of the shoreline at night. A guide has everyone jump in the ocean with snorkel gear and hang on to a floating board and look down. Other boats in the area shine led lights into the water, which attracts plankton, which in turn attracts the manta rays.
