A US electrical engineer pranks passers-by with a real-life working version of Thor's hammer on the Venice Boardwalk in Los Angeles.

The video, shot on October 11, shows a homemade version of the legendary Mjolnir hammer designed to release magnets when in touch with only a specific fingerprint.

According to Marvel Comics mythology, only those who are worthy can lift Thor's hammer.
