Gas tank bursts into fire after turning over in north China

A truck burst into fire after turning over on highway near northern China’s Beijing, the capital yesterday morning (February 11).

Dashcam footage shows that a LPG(liquefied, petroleum, gas) tank car turned over, exploded and suddenly burst into flame. A white car was driving by at the moment. The fire took rapidly, burnt trees and grassland aside and filled the picture. Someone in the car tried to opened the door and escape but failed because the fire was too strong. Screams of “fire, fire!” and cries can be heard as the car with the dashcam was driving backwards.

8 people got injured, hospitalised; 3 cars were involved in the flame according to police, government officers and fire fighters called to the scene.

The fire was in control. The case is still under investigation
