Winning the World Cup with a slingshot
A cool video has emerged from Germany of a man firing footballs from a huge homemade crossbow.
Inspired by his home country’s success in the World Cup so far, Jörg Sprave, a dedicated football fan from Folschnitz, Bavaria, constructed the sling-powered device in his workshop over the weekend..
Painted with the colours of the German national flag, the crossbow is able to shoot a full-size football the length of an entire football pitch.
Sprave wrote online: 'We are waiting for the urgent call from the German coach, Jogi Löw, and then we are on the way to Brazil!'
