Garden birds surviving in the heavy snowfall
The birds in my garden are relying on the food put out for them when everything is under a covering of two feet of snow making it impossible to find natural food. The extremely cold temperatures combined with the strong winds means they have to feed to just stay alive. Unfortunately many birds will died from starvation and the cold, so putting out food for our garden birds is a lifeline for them.
