Storm Emma Hits Torquay (2nd March 2018)
After Storm Emma had brought heavy snow and blizzards to the area the day before ( 1st March 2018), galeforce winds combined with a Springtide to bring huge waves, which flooded Torquay Seafront's coast road and surrounding areas. The sea also damaged the road & pulled up sections of pavement, as well as destroying beach hut foundations.
