Manchester Piccadilly Protest
So on March 11th 2018 I was at Manchester Piccadilly train station waiting to catch my train. I then heard an announcement that all trains was on halt due to a mass trespass on the railway. I was only metres away from the protest which held all trains in and out of Manchester for over 4 hours. Lots police on site but no movement of trying to move the protestors. I boarded my train at around 1pm and was heading back down to the south west. The train journey toke me over 9 hours to get home rather than only 5 hours.
