Police catch students carrying weapons on bus

This is the shocking moment police raid a school bus and catch pupils carrying swords and machetes.

The bus driver called police after hearing the pupils discussing a mass brawl with students from a rival school in Bangkok, Thailand.

Officers stopped the public bus which they boarded and hauled off the youngsters in school uniform.

Footage shows the children being searched and removing 12 deadly weapons including swords, machetes and knifes from tucked inside their belts.

Officers confiscated the weapons and questioned the students at the station in the Phasi Charoen district of the capital.

A police statement said: ''All are students of vocational colleges in the Bang Khae district. They were out of college to catch the bus home.

‘’They were involved in a quarrel with students from different institutions. The driver was worried that passengers could be hurt so he co-ordianated with police to check.

''This group of students said they brought a weapon to defend themselves. They had their records checked before returning them to their parents.’'
