Driverless subway trains begin trial run in Shanghai
Shanghai's first automated metro line with driverless trains began a trial run on March 27.
The video shows the unmanned four-carriage train without commuters, running on a 6.7-km-long APM (Automated People Mover) line with six stations.
The unmanned train utilizes a smart energy management system and rubber tires to help reduce noise.
According to reports, the trains started a trial run for the public on March 31.
