This is the moment a Bradford City footballer gave away his shirt at the end of a match after he accidentally hit a young fan in the face with a wayward ball.

Video from the club's 3-1 win against Portsmouth on Tuesday (April 17) shows striker Charlie Wyke marching up the stand after the match and handing the young fan his shirt.

In the closing stages of the match, Wyke accidentally kicked the ball into the crowd, causing it to hit a young supporter in the face.

The 25-year-old goalscorer reportedly immediately apologised and offered the fan his shirt as soon as the match finished.

The filmer describes the move as a "great gesture."
