Hockey fans paid tribute to the victims of a van attack in Toronto that killed 10 and injured 15 yesterday (April 23).

The video, shot on April 23, shows thousands of people singing along to the Canadian anthem inside a stadium, during the playoff game between Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins.

The filmer writes: "It was especially emotional given what happened in the city.''

The same two teams played against each other five years ago in a playoff game, few days after the Boston Marathon bombing (April 15, 2013).

On the same day as the tragic events in Toronto, their professional hockey team had an important playoff game. The video shows the touching rendition of Canada's national anthem with 20,000 fans joining in song and an enormous Canadian flag travelling over the fans. It was especially emotional given the events of the day in the city.
