A female skydiver was injured after crashing into a pond at Skydive City in Zephyrhills, Florida, on April 18.

In the video, a skydiver using a bright orange chute can be seen dropping at a fast rate.

As she approaches the pond, she hits it at a steep angle, makes a crash landing and goes under water as the crowd gasps.

People are seen rushing to the skydiver’s aid to get her out of the water.

“Other skydivers jumped in to get her out and the paramedics were called immediately,” the filmer said.

As the video continues, paramedics are seen arriving and a helicopter eventually airlifts her to a hospital.

"Officials say she was alert and conscious when she was flown to Lakeland Regional Hospital. There is no word on her current condition or how serious her injuries are,” WFLA reported on the day of the accident.

I was a spectator at Skydive City in Zephyrhills FL on 4/18/2018 and the accident was filmed around 11:30am. I was waiting for my friends to jump so I could film their landing. The girl that crashed was on the same plane as my friends. She jumped out at a lower elevation, the plane went up a bit further and more people jumped out and then the plane went up to higher elevation and my friends were the last out of the plane. I was just filming some of the seasoned jumpers doing the tricks over the pond waiting for my friends to land. That’s when the girl who was attempting a swooping trick hit the water hard and kind of bounced off of it and then went under the water. Other skydivers jumped in to get her out and the paramedics were called immediately. The only info about the girl I have is what I overheard some people saying. They said she was conscious and alert as they were putting her in the helicopter. I haven’t heard any updates on her condition.
