This is the moment bystanders drag a man out of his car after he crashes it into a lake following a failed attempt at drifting.

Footage captured on May 3 in Phu Tho province, 80km (50 miles) northwest of Hanoi, Vietnam, shows the small hatch-back spinning around in circles repeatedly.

The car then makes one last attempt to drift on the dirt track and disappears off the edge of the road.
