Tennis ball-sized hailstones hit northwestern China's Shangluo City, damaging several vehicles on May 15.

In the video, the hailstones strike vehicles, smashing windows.

According to local news, the largest diametre of the hailstone was 55mm.

More than 5,700 household and more than 600 hectares of crops were affected.

Six people suffered minor injuries.
