The Indonesian government is planting coral on sumberged breezeblocks in an effort to re-grow coral lost after years of bleaching.

Video captured on May 16 in the Pasaman Ocean shows the concrete blocks with small stubs of coral attached to them.

Fish are seen swimming around the blocks, even despite the fact the coral has not grown fully.

The reefs, off the coast of the island of Sumatra, have experienced years of bleaching and large parts of the ecosystem were killed following an earthquake in 2005.
