Rudy gave his daughter Crystal the surprise of her life: Miranda Sings tickets.

In the clip, filmed on May 23 in California, Rudy tells his daughter that he couldn't get her tickets for the Miranda Sings concert, but then he surprises her and says a friend did manage to get tickets for them and that she’ll get to meet Miranda Sings before the concert.

"It was a magical night for Crystal,” Rudy said. “I have never seen her in such an elevated level of excitement for such a long period of time.”

“Colleen/Miranda is awesome and I'm glad my daughter looks up to her,” Rudy added. "She's a great female role model."

My daughter's name is Crystal and she'll be 11 in August. In that video I had just picked her up from her mom's house, she went over to go swimming and we were heading home. The video was shot a few days before the actual concert and meet and greet. The show was at the Nob Hill Masonic in San Francisco.

It was a magical night for Crystal, I have never seen her in such an elevated level of excitement for such a long period of time. Colleen/Miranda is awesome and I'm glad my daughter looks up to her, she's a great female role model.
