Dramatic aerial footage has emerged of a fire at a pub in New Haven, CT, USA.

The footage, captured using a drone, shows a huge column of smoke reaching into the sky as flames engulfed the pub known as ‘Delaney’s Taproom and Restaurant’ on Monday.

Firefighters can be seen battling the blaze, with crews mounted on a cherry picker to combat the fire which was caused by a faulty electrical wire.

According to local reports, fire crews continued to work at the site on Tuesday morning and two firefighters were taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
