A fire was ignited in Simi Valley, about 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles, on the afternoon of June 27.

The blaze was reported at around 4:30 pm near the Ronald Reagen Presidential Library, was attended by more than 50 firefighters at the scene.

This footage, filmed by Noel and shared to Twitter the same afternoon, shows large plumes of smoke rising up from the flames. No official cause of the fire has been reported.

Video was taken at 4:33 PM On Madera and Country Club Dr. On the same hill as the Ronald Reagan Library. The cause of the fire is unknown but escalated quickly because of the slight winds. Around 5PM the fire was almost out all that left behind was burnt brush.
