The Croatian capital Zagreb explodes in a haze of smoke and busy celebrations despite the national team losing to France 4-2 in the World Cup final.

"It was phenomenal. Even when we lost the match, everything was amazing," said filmer Ivana Petric. "The crowd was so thankful. It's such an honour to our little country."

Croatia have only appeared at the World Cup five times, and the last time they made the semi finals was in 1998.

"When we made it to the finals, to me, it was like, OH MY GOD IS THIS REAL? I mean we deserved it," Petric said. "Tomorrow is one big celebration".
