Jubilant fans jump into fountain in Lyon as France wins second World Cup title
Fans jumped into a fountain at the Place des Terreaux square in Lyon on July 15, celebrating France's 4-2 victory against Croatia in the World Cup final.
This video, filmed by Denis Franco and shared to Facebook, shows fans splashing in the fountain and climbed atop a statue in the fountain as onlookers cheered and blared horns.
France defeated Croatia 4-2 in the final, giving the country their second World Cup win since the 1998 tournament during which they beat Brazil.
