This video was recorded on the 17th of June in my mums house in Glasgow Scotland. It was my step father Stephens birthday and also Father’s Day. He has always wanted a photograph of him surrounded by his grand children, which isn’t possible although the sees them all, they are from two different mothers and the arrangement means the grandkids can’t meet each other. My mum asked me if I could paint the picture he wanted. After 8 weeks of painting I got it ready for his birthday.
Surrounded by me, my husband Jason my sons jack and James and his son Jamie my brother James and my mum Marie he received his painting and his reaction was priceless. I couldn’t have hoped for a better reaction, he had no idea that my mum arranged for me to paint it and he was still hoping to get it for Xmas.
