This is the amusing moment a young black woman wakes up from surgery believing she is white.

The footage shows 16-year-old Faith Martin complaining about being ‘white’ as she lies on a bed.

'‘I want to be black. We are not the same colour,'' tells to a relative in the room.

The relative instigates her to look at the colour of her skin. After doing so, Faith does not seem convinced still.

Faith’s brother, who filmed the hilarious incident, writes: ''My sister got her surgery and she woke up higher than the Himalayas.

''I guess the medication had her still intoxicated so she started hallucinating claiming her skin to be white instead of black.''

The clip was captured in Texas on July 25.
