Visitors of Japanese Garden Party are walking along the alley with newly installed Japanese lanterns in Hammersmith Park. Formerly known as the Garden of Peace, the park was built for the Japan-British exhibition of 1910 and is considered the oldest Japanese Garden in the UK. In 2018 a new entrance gateway, shaped as a Japanese pagoda was installed in it, along with an alley of Japanese stone lanterns, enhancing the Japanese atmosphere in the garden. Japanese Garden Party took place in the park on 4 August to celebrate the rejuvenation Japanese Garden. Rays of sun are beaming in the camera on a hot summer day.
