After heavy rain in the capital on August 9, commuters at Hammersmith Tube station took chairs from outside a nearby cafe to navigate the gargantuan puddle.

Footage shows a group of people navigating the precarious bridge while others remain stranded.

The filmer writes: "After a few hours of heavy rain I walked by the station to find it "flooded" and commuters using chairs and good teamwork to cross the puddle."
