Forest officials removed an 8-foot crocodile from a pond in Haridwar, located in North India's Uttarakhand state, on August 19 after receiving reports rom local villagers that it was attacking a pig.

The video shows locals in Ganauli village gathered around authorities as they used nets as they operated a digger to drain the pond with a water pump. Nets were wrapped around the crocodile and with the help of the locals, was pulled to level ground. The operation took over eight hours.

Officials later released the crocodile about 40 km from the pond it was removed from.

A crocodile was rescued by forest officials from the Ganauli village in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar. Villagers said they have seen such a long crocodile for the first time. Later, the forest officials rescued the wild creature from the village

An 8-feet crocodile entered the tank in Ganauli village at Ankkar-Haridwar, when the villagers came to know Their Pet Pig was In jaws of Crocidle, they attempted to Rescue pigs from the Jaws of Crocidlie By shouting & throwing stones on Crocodile.The villagers became aware of the panic and the villagers immediately informed the Forest Department office, where the team reached the spot to Rescue the crocodile. Due to the high water level in the pond due to rain, water has been removed after the Pond with help of Water pump, after which the cleaning of the Pond with the help of JCB machine. Over eight hours of hardships, with the help of the villagers The crocodile was rescued useing Fishing Nets.
After the rescue the forest offical realsed the crocodile in the Rive which is 40 klm from the spot of Rescue.
