Bizarre video captured a mad mum throwing herself in front of a moving van after she failed to get her son run down as she had an argument with her husband in southern China’s Guangzhou City on August 14.

The CCTV clip shows the woman suddenly pushing her son to a yellow van, driving into the car park slowly, trying to get him run down.

After it failed, she quickly throws herself in front of the vehicle and flails her arms and legs on the ground.

Her husband in a yellow T-shirt with a yellow hat grabs their son to the safe area immediately.

According to reports, the couple had an argument on failing to get a SIM card because they forgot to bring their ID cards.

After being comforted by the security guard and other staff in the car park, the couple stopped arguing and left with their son.

The reason why the woman reacted like that was unknown, but fortunately no one was injured.

The incident was mistaken for a crash-for-crash scam, but local police clarified it later.
