A dramatic video has emerged of fights breaking out at the launch of the new iPhone 6 at a shopping centre in Paris, France on Friday.

In the footage, captured at 09:00am, police officers can be seen restraining a man on the ground while crowds of shoppers push to get inside the Val d’Europe store.

According to the filmer, “the store was very disorganised, they had not expected so many customers. Once the doors to the shopping centre opened, people ran towards the shop and Apple staff had to call the police. Once the police arrived tensions begin to rise between customers and store security. One shopper pushed back against a security guard and was immediately grabbed by 5 policemen and pulled to the ground. The staff at the Apple store were not happy that I filmed the scene.”
