This was the moment the police were attacked while attempting to apprehend a suspect in a McDonald's in Hackney after Notting Hill Carnival this year.

(anonymous) coming home from Nottinghill Carnival in West London and went into my local McDonald’s because I wanted to get food to eat. Was busier than usual because a lot of people coming from the carnival who I assume were also locals, were trying to get food. Waited ages in the queue to be served because of the verbal exchange between a guy and the McDonalds staff. Police were called and when they arrived the guy refused arrest after they had tried to talk to him. The video shows everything that happened whilst they tried to arrest him, and when the video stops, more police had come into McDonald’s to help the initial two officers clear the store of customers so they could put the guy in the police van.
